
Armed masked men leave Belfast residents ‘badly shaken’ after pointing gun at them

Residents of an east Belfast home were “left badly shaken” by two armed masked men.
The police have said that the there were no injuries reported during the incident which was took place yesterday evening.
Detective Sergeant McCartan said: “At approximately 9.30pm, a report was received that two masked men called to a property in the Channing Street area and pointed a gun at the resident.
“The victim was able to push the men away before calling police.
“Luckily no one was hurt but the residents have been left badly shaken by their ordeal.
“I am appealing to anyone who may have noticed the men in the area or to anyone with CCTV, doorbell or other footage that could assist with enquiries to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 1720 23/01/25.”
